You’re doing better than you think. Now let’s prove it on paper.

Rent goes up, groceries go up, and your pay stays the same. When money feels tight, it’s easy to stop looking at it altogether. Pencil It Out gives you a calm place to sit down with your money once a month and once a week, so you always know where you stand.

You don’t need to be good with spreadsheets or start in January. Pick any month, write down where you are right now, and build from there one page at a time. By the end of the year you’ll have a full record of every win, every hard month and every dollar you chose to save.

What’s inside (156 pages)

  • 7 start-here pages: Welcome, How to Use This Planner, the Five Leaves Framework, a Financial Confidence Assessment, My Financial Snapshot, My Financial Priorities and My Financial North Star.

  • 12 Meet Your Month pages: a monthly calendar with a plan for your income, needs, wants and goals.

  • 12 Bills at a Glance pages: list each bill with its due date and amount, then tick it off once it’s paid.

  • 48 Weekly Money Check-Ins: your biggest win, your biggest challenge, how you’re feeling about money, and what you planned to spend compared with what you actually spent.

  • 48 Expense Trackers: log every purchase and mark it as a need or a want.

  • 12 Savings Trackers: fill in a leaf for each milestone on the way to your goal.

  • 12 Monthly Reflections: your wins, your lessons, a spending wheel, your month in numbers and your no-spend days.

  • My Year at a Glance and My Year in Review: your whole year on one page, plus a chance to compare your confidence score with where you started.
